While I do not share the religious fervour of the Jesus People of Bugbrooke, I can't help but admire their business acumen.
The apparent ease at which they are able to shell out around £200,000 for the Cornhill Hotel, Pattishall suggests they have got the parable of the talents down to a fine art.
Perhaps they might be good enough to share the secret of their cash-raising abilities with other churches who seem hard put even to rub two pennies together. On the other hand these 'poor as church mice' establishments, might not be so keen to build up their treasures on earth.
