NOT A CULT

May I express my views on the programme on Anglia Television (June 15, 10.35pm) 'Church or Cult.'

I speak as a visitor to these very loving and welcoming people and can say definitely they are not a cult.

My son is a covenant member and has chosen to live a community life. We have visited him on numerous occasions over the past two years and have found them to be of the same heart every time.

They get people well and happy and encourage them. If they wish to stay they can, if not they help them on their way, finding them somewhere to live and a job of work.

As for the archdeacon's views, I cannot see how he can make a fair comment when he has never bothered to go and see these people.
