A man living at the headquarters of the Jesus Fellowship has appeared before Towcester Magistrates Court charged with raping a woman.
The man, aged 23, of New Creation Farm, Nether Heyford, is accused of raping a woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, at a house in the village on Saturday.
The man, who wore a nave blue and turquoise tracksuit top spoke only to confirm his name and address at yesterdays hearing.
No application for bail was made by his solicitor, and the man was remanded in custody until a hearing on Friday at Northampton Crown Court.
