INAPPROPRIATE

In response to your footnote to the letter of June 15, I feel I must respond.

You state 'the fat that the Jesus Army had been asked to leave such a high profile event'. This is not a fact. The Jesus Army were not asked to leave. They were asked to remove their display because they did not have permission to bring it on to the site, it contravened health and safety regulations and it was inappropriate for this particular event.

Members of the Jesus Army, as with everyone else, were always welcome to attend the event.
