The ideology ad lifestyle of the Community is based upon Stanton's autocratic and dogmatic interpretations of the Bible - supported and enhanced regularly by his revelations of 'what God is saying'. All of his teaching which is deemed prophetic is 'treated' as infallible.

Having talked to ex-'teachers'(known as Elders) the author knows of only one occasion when as Elder dared publicly to question Stanton's teaching. He was publicly and 'fiercely' rebuked for daring to challenge revelation from God, revealed by the spirit.

Ministers of other churches have never (since the Community was formed) been welcome to preach to the fellowship.
