'The Lord took hold of Bugbrooke' was the title of a documentary film shown on Independent television on Tuesday night.

The program was aimed to show the way the Jesus Fellowship at Bugbrooke had affected the village and the feelings of those involved with the Fellowship and those against it.

But many people will feel that the programme was incomplete without an interview with the man who started it all, the Rev Noel Stanton. The programme did not deal in any depth with the way the Fellowship is financed, nor did it perhaps do justice to the work of the Fellowship that is done unobtrusively in and out of the village.
