Prospective buyers for Bugbrooke Hall attended the auction held at the Angel Hotel, Northampton. The 19th century home of the Harrison family was sold for £67,000 to the Jesus Fellowship Housing Association which, according to the Rev. Noel Stanton, pastor of the Bugbrooke Jesus Community Centre is 'a charitable organisation providing housing and accommodation in a Christian setting.'
Mr. M. J. Appleton knocks down Bugbrooke Hall on the final and successful bid made by a Daventry architect acting on behalf of the Jesus Fellowship Housing Association.
