NOT EVIL

Dear Sir

Several members of my family belong to the Jesus People and for a long time I've had first hand knowledge of the movement.

I wish to make it absolutely clear that these people are not a 'sinister cult' as has been said, nor are they evil.

If their opponents would attend their meetings and visit their houses, with an open mind, they would see things as they truly are, instead of criticising from afar.

After all, the early Church was criticised and persecuted as well as the early Methodists and the Salvation Army. Now we bless their memory. History will again repeat itself in this situation.
