I conclude that the Bugbrooke sect fears lest new members will be discouraged from
attending meetings by their families.
Why are converts not encouraged to live at home and share their new faith? Does God
only love strangers who are contacted outdoors.
Of course, I agree, we should pray for the sect. But prayer alone may be insufficient. God
may want to answer our prayers through our actions - even our knocking.
It is not a matter of minor doctrine. The fact that the sect tries to persuade converts
to dissociate from their families makes their whole faith suspect.
