INVITE FROM JESUS PEOPLE

The controversial Jesus People of Bugbrooke have issued an invitation to the Archdeacon of Northampton Ven. Bazil Marsh to see for himself how they operate.

Their invitation comes after the Venerable Bazil Marsh slammed the group in last week's Post as 'a cult the same as the Moonies.'

This week the Jesus Fellowship's spokesman David Hawker accused Ven. Marsh of harming the Christian cause with his remarks and invited him to one of their meetings.

The Archdeacon said: 'I would have preferred a personal invitation but I will give some serious thought to this general invitation through the press.
